They say the amount of Instagram followers doesn't

They say the amount of Instagram followers doesn't matter.

Surprisingly to me, it actually does matter quite a bit, because you are not a number of random likes and unlikes, follows and unfollows, or anonymous @ symbols.

You care as much about this little channel of mine (us, really, since Jessie and Everett on my team are a big part of this!) as we do.

You make me enjoy creating content and word-smithing my thoughts on branding that much more. In a way, you are making me matter more – Woah, now that is crazy talk about a number of Instagram follows 😳

But it is true. Writing is lonely without readers, and branding is work if only practiced with clients. You all bridge this gap wonderfully.

Some of you turned into mentees, some into collaborators, some became mentors, some members of my small (26 ppl as of now) intimate HTM circle where we are in constant contact throughout the month (link in bio, ahem), some into true friends, and all of you, with your kind daily messages of appreciation into the inspiration to keep me thinking, writing, and talking about this wonderful world of branding so that the companies we touch become not only better brands, but also better corporations for the next generation's health and wealth.

Thank you for being here, each and every one of you 7,000 fine people hiding behind your @ symbols 🙌🏻
